After registering, go to Projects in the sidebar and click "New Project". Give it a name and start adding designs. Each design can contain structural elements that automatically generate a bill of materials.

gerenda.studio offers a free tier so you can explore the core features. Premium plans unlock unlimited projects, priority support, and advanced PDF branding options.

You can model timber-frame walls, roofs, floor structures, and more. Each element is defined by dimensions and a material from your database, which the system uses to compute precise material quantities.

A Project is the top-level container (e.g. "Smith Residence"). A Project can have multiple Designs — alternative layouts or phases. Each Design has its own bill of materials and can be attached to a quote.

Yes. When creating a quote you can import the bill of materials from any of your designs. This pre-populates the quote rows with item names and quantities, so you only need to set prices.

Calculations follow industry-standard formulas for each structural element type. Waste factors and rounding are configurable per material. For critical projects, always cross-check with a structural engineer.

The material database is a shared catalogue of construction products with unit prices, dimensions, and VAT rates. Admins maintain the catalogue; contractors apply it to their models and price profiles.

A Price Profile is your personal price list — a named set of materials with the net unit prices you charge. You can have multiple profiles (e.g. "Standard", "Premium") and switch between them when building a quote.

Yes. Create as many price profiles as you need. When editing a quote, use the "Fill from Profile" button to apply a profile's prices to matching rows in seconds.

Navigate to Quotes and click "New Quote". Fill in the client details, add line items (manually or imported from a design), set net prices or use "Fill from Profile", then click "Generate PDF" to download a professional offer.

Reverse Charge is a VAT mechanism (§ 142 of the Hungarian VAT Act) where the tax liability is transferred to the buyer. Toggling this option on the quote sets all VAT rates to 0% and adds the required legal notice to the PDF.

Yes — the quote editor supports bidirectional pricing. Enter either the net or gross unit price and the other value is calculated automatically based on the VAT rate you select.

After editing and saving the quote, click "Generate PDF". The system renders a professional, print-ready PDF with your company details, the itemised price table, VAT summary, and a grand total.

Yes. Open the quote from the Quotes list at any time. All header fields and line items are fully editable. Save and regenerate the PDF as many times as you need.

Go to your account settings and update your provider name, address, tax ID, and bank account. These are pre-filled automatically when you create a new quote and can still be edited per quote.

All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Each user can only access their own projects, designs, and quotes. Authentication is handled via secure tokens.

Yes. gerenda.studio is fully cloud-based and responsive. Log in from any modern browser on desktop, tablet, or mobile.
